Alphonse Lafitte is one of the two pseudonyms used by Manuel Robbe in the 20s. He was especially likely to use this pseudonym for his marine scenes and Brittany scenes. No one seems to know why Manuel Robbe found it necessary to sign his works using a name other than that of Robbe.
